Our mission

Governance, risk, and compliance are being rewritten by artificial intelligence. GRC Careers exists to help the people doing that work: compliance officers, internal auditors, risk and privacy leaders, and the new wave of AI governance professionals. We publish plain spoken analysis of where the field is heading, point to the certifications and skills that matter, and connect professionals to real openings through our job board. Human judgment stays at the center. We use AI to inform the work, not to replace the people who do it.

Questions people ask about GRC Careers

Short answers, kept current.

What is GRC Careers?

GRC Careers is a publishing and careers network for governance, risk and compliance professionals, run by GRC Careers LLC. It covers AI governance, risk, compliance, privacy and audit, and it operates GRCcareers.ai for essays and AI-Governance-Jobs.com for roles.

Who writes for GRCcareers.ai?

Practitioners rather than a content team. Stephan Pochet, a credentialed senior auditor and co-founder of GRC Careers LLC, is the lead author. He writes in English and French on how governance frameworks built for deterministic systems break when applied to artificial intelligence.

Where can I follow GRC Careers?

On LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/company/grc-careers-llc, which is where new essays, framework updates and governance roles are posted as they publish. It is the main channel for the network.

Does GRC Careers cover the EU AI Act?

Yes. The EU AI Act is a recurring subject across the essays, alongside the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001. Material is published in English and in French, because for a large part of the readership the EU AI Act is domestic law rather than foreign regulation.

Is the content free?

Yes. The essays, the career guides and the certification practice questions are all free and require no account, no email address and no paywall.

What certifications does GRC Careers cover?

AIGP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, CIPM, CGEIT, CISSP, GSEC, CHC, CPA and FRM, plus readiness companions for the EU AI Act, the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001.

Where are the GRC and AI governance jobs?

At AI-Governance-Jobs.com. Every posting is hand reviewed rather than scraped, and each one carries a good-faith salary range under a published pay transparency policy.

Does GRC Careers track its visitors?

No. The platform runs one mandatory Cloudflare cookie for infrastructure security. Convenience cookies, including session memory for logins, stay inactive unless a visitor enables them. There is no cross-site behavioural tracking and no sale of visitor behaviour to employers.

What are the four AI governance career tracks?

AI governance and management, responsible AI and ethics, AI risk and security, and AI compliance and audit. They are kept separate because the reporting lines, technical requirements and day-to-day responsibilities genuinely differ.

Who runs GRC Careers LLC?

F. Jay Hall and Stephan Pochet are the two co-founders. Jay has run ExecSearches.com, a nonprofit and public sector executive job board, since 1999. Stephan is the credentialed GRC practitioner and lead author.
